I stumbled on this site when researching how to change APN setting on the iPhone without using the iPhone Configuration Utility: http://www.unlockit.co.nz/unlockit/

Currently they don't have the settings for SpeakOut but I have sent a request for them to add it. For anyone that travels to and from Canada and uses prepaid wireless providers, this is a great tool. You go to the web site from your iPhone, select custom APN, select your provider from the list and it will automatically add the profile as if you are using the iPhone Configuration Utility.

Also the website, if you browse from your computer, has a forum and mobile settings for a hundred or so carriers. It;s quite a resource.

Hope you find it useful, I have.

That is a good website. I used it when I needed to add AT&T to my iphone.

The only problem I had is when I tried to use it to go back to Speakout. I emailed myself a custom profile with the Speakout settings created by it but the profile wouldn't work - ie. no connection to Speakout data. So I had to use the iphone configuration tool instead.
Maybe now that you've requested a Speakout setting to be added, it might work.
Of course, I may have just created the custom profile at their site wrong....

This website has now been updated to include Speakout. I tried their profile creator and it works well. No need for the iPhone Configuration Utility anymore unless you don't have WiFi at home.
