Can anyone tell me if it's possible to have my name added to my phone number so people know I'm calling them by my name. The phone is the Nokia 2720.

That was discussed here:

https://www.speakoutwireless.ca/speak/phone-features/how-to-indicate-the-caller-id-in-nokia1661/

I know it was asked for a Nokia 1661, but it should relate for 2720.

Iamdrumming: that other message refers to viewing incoming callers names. I want my name on my OUTGOING calls so other people can see my name.

Sorry, I must have been still asleep when I typed that.

The opposite is true though. Your name and number must be in the call recipient's address book for your name and number to appear. If you are making an outgoing call to a landline number from your SpeakOut phone, only the number will appear, and your name never will.

Thanks Iam. That's disappointing though.

Well, the flipside is that SpeakOut is a completely anonymous service. They don't know your name or address, so they can't sell your personal info to other companies.
