Hi - I needed a temp number for someone visiting us, did some research and came across your site. Great job BTW. Got a SIM from a local 7-Eleven, went through the activation process on the official site which did go through without a problem. However, the phone doesn't show any signal bars. I called customer service at least 5 times but no use. Each time I was advised to keep the phone off for half an hour which I did but nothing changed. I'm using an unlocked Nokia C2-05 which should work with SO. Finally I was told by customer service that there might be a problem with the SIM card but they can only replace it for $15 (although it's available in the store for $10). He asked me to go buy a new SIM card. Apparently if the SIM card is bad I don't have a choice for an exchange. Seriously? Doesn't make any sense since the SIM card was bad from day one, they should be able to replace it free of cost. Anyone had the same/similar issue? Please help. Much appreciated.
