For those who are still stuck with Yahoo for a bit, I found that the new Yahoo Mail app works over 3G/UMB. And I was just in the process of moving my Yahoo over to Gmail/Outlook.com, lol.

good to know and they finally come out with this, i assume it is not a m.yahoo.com in disguise as in the past.

android yahoo mail app always work, the built in iPhone one doesn't as that is actuall IMAP with some tweak with push notification via SMS or something.

Yahoo I find is for people typically over 40. Over 30 is hotmail
