Anyone else excited about this:
http://mobilesyrup.com/2012/09.....r-release/

Been happily using a very basic Samsung Hype on Speakout, while waiting for SGIII.
If the 3G Nexus 7 really shows up, I think that I may just keep the Hype and just buy the Nexus 7 and set it up on Speakout.

Anyone have any opinions on whether it would be any more difficult to setup up the Nexus7, than any other Android phone?

Cheers.

If it is based off Android OS then it should be the same way to set up as a phone. The only caveat is whether there is a simple rooting solution. You will more than likely need root to use apps like autoproxy or droidproxy. Oh and the important sim unlock availabilty if it is not from Rogers.

It has all the specs required to run with Speakout. I do not know much about the new OS, but I assume it should deal with Speakout Proxy settings just fine.

OS is the same as on my Google Nexus S, works OK with Speakout. Should be the same for Nexus 7 3G tablet.
