So I've been using speakout for a couple years now with an iphone 3g and more and more often I see no service! started a few months ago. I get 1 bar for a few moments and then no service again and again. it seems to have nothing to do with location so I'm wondering if anyone else is having this issue. it will work and then not work. can't figure out why this is happening.

occasionally i've purchased the data package and used it by creating a profile through iphone configuration utility and uploading it to phone. ive deleted that stuff and the No Service persists. Any advice? I don't want to have to call them and let them know I'm using an iphone etc.

I've never had a problem with my SpeakOut phone. Always have a signal. It seems like your iPhone is acting up, or there is spotty/no coverage where you are.

Have you tried restoring your phone? Is it a Rogers phone or is it jailbroken and unlocked?

It's a Rogers 3g iphone. I guess the phone must be acting up then Don't really want to have tor restore it since it's JB'd with apps I like but if it turns out that's the solution to the No Service thing then blah, I guess I have to.

Try doing a reset first. Hold the power and the home button together until you see the white apple on the screen.
