Hi All - New guy here but been lurking off and on for a while. From info here and RFD I decided my simple needs would be met 100 per cent by a low priced 1616.
I noticed that the included manuals etc. were re-issed as ver.2.0 and the box label says 48/2011. There is also the "Bluetooth" logo on the box but its not discussed in the manual.
Does anyone know if this an improvement over earlier 1616s manufactured a few years ago?

Thanks for quick reply. The logo is on the package box bottom (it's a very small blue box) and there is no mention of the actual contents. I guess it's a "no-name" recycled box with a 1616-2B label attached to the side and a Speakout Wireless label on the inside. Everything seems to work fine and I'm happy with the deal.
