I topped up with $100 and received the free phone. They gave me a Nokia 1616 instead of a 1661. Should I exchange it for the right phone? Which phone is better? I'm not actually using the phone myself, it is a Christ,as gift.

I do not think there is enough difference to waste the time to exchange it. Both phones are great phones to throw in the glove compartment to use in an emergency. Neither are the best phones for day to day calls.

I don't think they sell the 1661 anymore. The 1616 is the newer phone, and according to the official site, that's the free phone included in the promotion. They are almost identical though.

Thanks guys. For some reason I thought the 1661 for the phone that was included in the deal. I will keep this one. Thanks for the prompt replies.

I've got five of these phones lying around. I always love promotions and the $125 for $100 was enough for me to top up each of the four phones in my family. Did they really have to through in a new phone as well?
