Does anyone know if the Nokia 1661 is locked? I inserted a Fido Sim card and it says Sim Error.

I don't get it. If the phone is locked then why does it work with a Rogers, SIM card? Is it because 7-11 runs on the Rogers network?

That's the way Rogers locks them. It will only work with a SpeakOut sim, or a Rogers sim.
