Hello,
I just activated my new nokia 1661.
The radio only starts if I connect earphone.
Is there a way to start the radio straight from loudspeaker?

The headphones act as the antenna for the FM reception, so you must plug them in for the FM to work. By default the sound only work with the headphones when they are plugged in. So unfortunately no, I can not think of a way to have the sound come out of the loudspeaker. That would be a nice feature though.

The loudspeaker works once the radio is on, I was just wanted to start the radio without earphone.
This phone is not the top of the line but I like it! 😀

Hey, you're right. I was able to switch to loudspeaker on mine too after starting the radio. Bonus. Thanks for pointing that out.
