Nokia 2760 Unidentifiable Icon | Phone/Device Issues and Features | Consumer forum

I recently bought the Nokia 2670 and I'm very pleased with it. However I've noticed an icon on the internal screen, and I don't have a clue what it is. It's located to the right of the battery indicator. It's and looks something like this

Two Grey/white circles connected by a horizontal line at the bottom.

The icon also appears on the external screen.

I've read through the manuals and tried to find out what it signifies. No luck.

Can someone put me out of my misery and let me know what this icon is?
It's driving me nuts not knowing.
