I bought a Nokia 5230 Nuron t-mobile and had it unlocked. Works fine for calls with Speakout Canada.
I thought I would try the "browsing" but can't seem to get it to work.
Can anyone help with settings etc. I looked at the discussion re: Iphone etc. and tried to work with that but no luck so far.

You would need to set up the APN settings for your Nokia. I cannot really tell you how to do it, but here is what you have to input into your phone.

APN: goam.com
User name: wapuser1
pass: wap
port: 80

Set the browser proxy to 10.128.1.69 at port 80.

Seems obvious, but did you call speakout and activate data on your account?

Nothing is obvious to me at this point but yes I did call.
This wouldn't be the first time I called a customer service and didn't get the proper results. Online it shows I have the added service but I will check at some point with another call. Still it should be active as shown online.
Thanks

I don't know where to enter the proxy server Ip address. I entered it on the homepage entry and got "you have reached the openwave MAG proxy…." so it would appear I am getting to the net, just a setting is incorrect.
Any other ideas out there??

FOUND OUT where to enter the Proxy info properly and seem to be connected.
Had to go to settings, destination, choose the access point and then "options/advanced" and there was "proxy" and "port". Simple when you find it.

Thanks for your help!!
