Here are my settings:

Menu>Settings>Configuration>Personal Settings>Options>Add New>Web

Account Name: (You can use whatever name you prefer)
Homepage: http://wap:8582/start.wml
User name: (Leave it blank - do not input anything, not even a space)
Password: (Leave it blank - do not input anything, not even a space)
Use preferred access pt.: No
Access point settings (Select it)
Proxy: Enabled
Proxy address: 10.128.1.69
Proxy port: 80
Bearer settings (Select it)
Packet data access pt.: goam.com
Network type: IPv4
Authentication type: Normal
User name: wapuser1
Password: wap

Your inputs are done.

Go back to
Menu>Settings>Configuration>Personal Settings>
Move your cursor to (whatever account name you have used in the above input)
**Press Options>Activate

The above step is essential so that your inputs under the account name (whatever name you created) is made active and ready for use.

Go to
Menu>Internet>Web Settings>Configuration settings
You should see the following:
Configuration: Personal config.
Account: (whatever name you created)

You are now all set to go web browsing on the Nokia C3.

Good luck!

Hi,
I have a Nokia C3. What apps are functioning for you with these settings? I was only able to use the really crappy Nokia browser that came with the phone. Are any of the apps like twitter of facebook working?

not yet, the updates don't work...yet....i think it is safe to say, many of speakout customers are annoyed, myself included, seeking better service, like why do that?

this is the second time they trashed out the apps

It's not SpeakOut . It's Rogers.Quit complaining about something you are getting for free. If you want uninterrupted 3G for use with all the apps, go to Rogers, not a low frills 2G carrier like SpeakOut.

So what works with this setup, other than the default WAP browser which needs no settings at all to make it work. Does Opera work on WAP?
