My wife got a LG GB102 phone in the UK. We are now going back to England and want to take the phone with us. However, she has forgotten the phone number assigned to this phone. Is there a way of recovering the number?

Sorry, I'm not too familiar with that particular phone. As far as finding the number, it should be found by going through the menus, either in "Phone Status", "Contacts" or something similar.

As I am also unfamiliar with that phone, you may or may not be able to see the phone number in one of the settings menus.

If you cannot find those settings, remember that the phone number is tied to the SIM card and not the phone. So once in the UK, you can either buy a new SIM card which will have a new number, or with the existing SIM card, write down the numbers printed on the SIM card, call the provider, and ask them what the number is.

If you are going to get a new SIM card, you might be best off buying from the provider that supplied the phone. If the phone is unlocked, you can use any European SIM card.

Thanks guys,
I went into the 'contacts', 'search' menu and found a number listed as 'home phone' which we suspect is the correct number. Thank you for taking the time to respond.
