Hi, looking for a phone recommendation to use on SO...

I'm looking for a something that would have full compatibility with data service and email. I'm looking at the prepaid android offerings from T-Mobile and AT&T, so it would have to be easily unlockable and not an issue with downloading apps or email on SO. I would also like the ability to swap out my sim card and use the phone on T-Mo when I'm in the US.

I'm currently using an iPhone 4S (but I'm selling my contract/phone) so that can give perspective of what I'm used to, so android is a foreign concept to me... so any suggestions would be great!

I see T-Mobile has a Samsung Exhibit II, that seems not too shabby, http://prepaid-phones.t-mobile.....4G-Prepaid

T-Mobile uses UMTS band 4 (WCDMA 1700) for 3G. Phones supporting this frequency band is less common. In Canada, Wind Mobile, Mobilicity and few others use this band. So look at their offerings or make sure phone you buy support this frequency band.

UMTS: Band IV (1700/2100)
UMTS: Band V (850);Band II (1900)
