Hey everyone..here's my situation.
About 2 weeks ago I got and android phone along with a prepaid 7 eleven sim card. I got the phone from a friend and flashed a custom rom which worked perfectly fine. After my new rom installation i noticed that the 3G logo appeared in the task bar. At that time I had a full high speed data connection for free. I was using it for about 10 days and then it stopped working. The APN was ltemobile.apn... no proxy server no nothing.
After the free data connection I was using stopped, I decided to add the unlimited browsing add-on to my account. After it got activated i looked up the 7 eleven APN settings and input them in my phone and something just doesn't seem right. My unlimited browsing add-on does not work. I called customer service, they re-activated the browsing add-on, told me to wait 30min with my phone off and when I turn it on it should work. My friend has the same add-on activated using the same APN settings that I used and his works fine.
Now, my question is: Since 7 eleven use Rogers networks, and I somehow used free data on their network (about 1Gb of traffic) is it possible that my SIM card or phone IMEI got blocked or blacklisted somehow? Any ideas ?

I have pretty much the same problem on my iPhone. At one point it was working but since I reactivated it, it has ceased to work. Tried all the APN settings and contacting support but to no avail. I can't even get the "3G" icon to show. Normally when I wasn't subscribed to cellular data toggling the "cellular data" switch would get me the message "not subscribed to cellular data" but now nothing show up.

I have contacted CS three times now. Have not had any luck at restoring my service. Since I use an iPhone, ( "an unsupported" phone), I put my sim in an Alcatel phone I bought from Speakout. It did not get browsing service with that phone either. Now they say they don't reccomend that phone, as it is very slow. I went to the website, and that's the only phone they sell. You can also buy a sim card and put it in an "unsupported phone".
On my last call, I drew this to their attention, and asked them to advise me as what to do. They are going to refresh the signal, one more time (3rd time) and if that doesn't work......they will refund my $10.00.
Hopefully some day they will be able to supply uniform service across the network.

I have always made sure to get my data activated on a Speakout supported phone first (Nokia C5). Speakout CS people tend to be a little lazy and if you tell them you are on an iPhone, they will immediately play the "thats an unsupported phone" card. Be persistant until you get the Alcatel working, the concentrate on the iPhone.
