It seems my SIM card is becoming flaky on my iPhone 4S. I've been using the same SIM in this 4S for about a year but twice recently I've gotten the error message 'invalid SIM' and had to take the card out and put it back in to get things working with the phone again.
So I'm thinking of replacing this SIM with a new one. What I can't seem to find is the process for porting my current speakout phone number to the new SIM card. Can it be done? Or do I have to start using a new phone number?
Also, I guess I will lose all my airtime if I start using a replacement SIM in my current phone, is that right?

Thanks so much, that's the info I was hoping to know.
So, I'm guessing that when I insert the replacement SIM in my iPhone 4S, after having taken out the flakey SIm, I'll be prompted, during the activation process, to enter my current Speakout phone number and then the account info will be transferred to the new SIM. Is that how it works?
