When I send texting from my PC to my friends using SO phones, they could just receive them once or twice. After that I just got prompts that their phones do not receive texting, no matter how they try to register with yahoo or click to open the link yahoo has sent to their phones.

Is there anyone who encounters the same problem? I searched the web and could not get the solutions.

thx.

Interesting ....
On the very same day, I had posted a different thread regarding basically the same question.
https://www.speakoutwireless.ca/speak/technical-service-details/sending-a-text-message-from-yahoo/

Anyways, I have since learned that ...

1. from Yahoo help ...
How often can I send a message to someone?
You can send up to 4 text messages to one mobile device for every one response you receive from the same device.

2. Yahoo sms uses short code and it seems that short code may not always work on SO. May be others could help clarify.

thank you very much kyso316, sorry I did not browse enough through the website to get the answer.

And also thanks a lot for the links too.

oh BTW, if anyone needs to send texting from PC to mobiles, HEYWIRE is a very good alternative too, in case yahoo won't work.

I found it not so convenient as msn or yahoo, but it is still free of charge, and it works perfect for me so far.

just to let you know.

cheers.

Does Heywire works in Canada as well as US numbers too?
