Have an unlocked Samsung Gio that works fine with Rogers pre-paid. Purchased a Speakout SIM card and activated. Able to send and receive text messages as well as receive phone calls - but cannot initate phone calls. Tried the SIM card in a Rogers pre-paid Samsung Corby Plus and inbound/outbound calls work fine. Put the SIM back in the Samsung Gio and outbound calls do not work - I get "Unfortunately, we cannot complete your call as dialed. Please check the number and try your call again". Also tried a second Speakout SIM card in the Samsung Gio and it experiences the same issue of not being able to complete outbound phone calls.

Any ideas? Thx!

do not know about the solution but can assure you that My Gio is working with SO sim fine, including data.
