Thank you Bridonca what i meant was under settings there is accessibility and under that there was something which said power key ends calls and i checked that box now
It say the power key to end calls when screen is on. This will not turn off screen.
i will see if this works i dont know how to get the apps from the play store.
Previously i went into securities and it said to set a password to keep the phone in the unlock mode. Thats why i asked you about it.
i know i had that same feature in my sony ericsson phone. and it asked for a password this way no one could get into your phone.
Thank you very much for all your kind help.
I have unlocked this phone and concerned if i download and dont do it properly i do not want to reset my phone to the original.
This has happened to me once before.
Thank you again

Regarding the Gio, I am pretty happy with the phone, however there are couple of things that I would like to have a solution for,but I don't :
- no idea why when phone is on speakerphone the volume is so low?! I have the volume to the max, but still does not help; is there a solution for this?
- is there a way to connect the phone via bluetooth to the car speakers(similar to a TomTom ) ? So then the volume wouldn't be an issue?
- is there an app that can compensate and help with the above?
Thanks for your input!

I have personally success tested the bluetooth of the Gio on a Xlink-cell Bluetooth Gateway mainly because all brick phone suck as phones. I have also used the Gio with the BlueAnt Supertooth Light Bluetooth Speakerphone http://www.legitreviews.com/ar.....cle/546/1/
I could adjust the volume on with the BlueAnt, and also with the XLInk, with the right phone.
There might be a chance your Gio just does not like your car's bluetooth implementation.

Thank you Bridonca for the examples. Is your Gio having the same issue (low volume on the income calls when is on speakerphone)? Is this an issue with the Gio's?
As for the bluetooth, I am thinking to go with a much cheaper option:

It will solve the low volume issue and for that price, I can't complain.

I pretty much wrote off the Gio as a crappy phone, to be blunt. Seems to be the case for most low end Korean phones. Pretty impressive Android device for the price though. I honestly did not even bother with the speakerphone, mainly because I already had some decent bluetooth gear so I why waste my time with the Gio brick?
I have a drawer full of junky bluetooth headsets. That Motorola headset does not inspire confidence. A good one costs a fortune, but it is worth it. You can get them on sale every so often. I would wait for one of these. http://www.pcmag.com/article2/.....586,00.asp

Thank you Bridonca, I am not a heavy user, is more like for randomly calls now and then. I set up a price in my mind, for about $50. I will see the coming sales or maybe a future trip to US will help, if I browse for one of these suggested in the link.
Thank you iamdrumming, I will try to source one of those; I think they have been replace with the new model, as it does not show up on BB or FS...
