If it's true, it's not yet available to my phone number in Calgary.

Not here. It has to have proxy to work. (London, ON)

Nothing different in Victoria. I have been playing around with the APN settings on my Android and so far the only thing that has changed is I don't need to specify port 80, I can leave it blank. Then again, I could probably have done this before, I always specified it until today. So no change here.

Don't know how this could be possible. Chimpanzee is listed in Vancouver and says it works, yet several other Vancouver members say it doesn't. Somebody pulling our legs?

Well why don't you give us som info like where you are, type of phone, exactly what settings you have, instead of just bragging about what you supposedly have working?

Nobody except netyang is able to access the limited Speakout data without the proxy information.

sorry, I didn't read all the reples. I'm in Calgary. My speak out was blocked on Feb. 1, but in Feb.6 morning, I tried to remove proxy to see if the speak out 3G was back or not, suddenly I can use it. until now, it still works for me. I use a android phone.

Hi all. Finally after taking so much time reading here decided to buy an I phone 3gs unlocked and registered with unlimited browsing. It looks like it has now installed but my internet browsing only works with wifi at home. I try to go out few meters from home and safari isn't working. Anything tips as to what should I do next? Many thanks.

I went out again to get some shopping but it only works in the mall where wifi is available for free. How would I know from home with wifi on that my internet browsing is working? I would really like to know if my data plan is working otherwise would just cancel it and be contented with a free wifi. Does anyone with data plan in Vancouver or BC with iphone works?

I did that already. I followed the instructions and managed to install it successfully. Did I miss anything?

Try a hard reset. Hold the home and the power buttons together. Ignore the shutdown screen and continue holding until you see a black screen with a white apple. Allow it to boot and give it a try. If you are at home simply open Preferences/Wifi and toggle it off so you know you are running on data only.
