Fake carrier is an app to "fake carrier", in 7-eleven's case, it is most likely set up with this app. People even use them own names to replace the real carrier. Pls check your phone to see if the former user use this app to type in HOME to replace the real carrier's name.
My friends do that just for fun. 🙂

No, her iPhone isn't jailbroken. It's a Rogers phone, so no need. I did have fake carrier on my phone at one point simply because I don't like how Speakout doesn't fit. It just says Spea...

Yeah, because I have tried mine in different phones and it's all the same.
Btw, I contacted SO and asked them about this and they gave me a BS explanation as how it says HOME instead of SpeakOut because my phone is in the home menu, yeah right.
