I recently bought a Telus LG Optimus One phone, which I unlocked. Everything seems to be working fine except that I cannot make it connect to 611 and *777 numbers. It just says that "we cannot complete your call as dialed".
Does anyone else have this issue and/or know to what it might be related?

I just upgraded my nokia to an LG and get the same error, but I can't see why changing the phone would make any difference as it's the SIM that's connecting you not your phone.... maybe put the sim back in the old phone and dial again?

Not sure about the specific phone you have, but if they are 3G capable, try switching off the 3G and making the call. I know this was a common problem on iphones, and temporarily disabling 3G always solved it.

I had that problem when I first signed up.. it *777 actually went to Peel Police. Call them on a landline and get them to reinitiate your account that worked for me.

Yes, it works now with my phone switched to 2G. Thanks.

Anyone have any ideas on how to turn a LG Secret to 2g?
