Hi again, yesterday I posted how my C3 lost the ability to check mail using the unlimited browsing plan, yet it worked fine with wifi. I could still surf browse, even watch youtube with the data plan. Oddly enough I could use my browser and check mail from hotmail, gmail... through the data plan. But I really wanted my phone's mail to work in the data plan. After a day of reformatting and reinstalling firmware (with the ovi suite software) now I cannot go online at all with the data plan (wifi still okay though). I guess that the firmware reinstall got rid of the settings for the speakout data plan.

Does anyone know what are the correct settings are? In the setting folder it looks like I have to change things in the connectivity, phone and configuration folders. But I don't know and I am scared to try as my 'handiwork' is well not great.

After using my C3 for 2 months with a regular talk plan and Wlan, in early in August I signed up online for Unlimited Browsing. While all internet services worked through Wlan on my C3 those same services did not work on SO Browsing except the wap browser. After suffering with this for a few days I called Customer Service and the agent said she could correct the problem. After turning off the phone for 5 minutes, I tried the SO Browsing again and everything worked perfectly: Mini-Opera, Facebook, Email and Google Maps. It was not necessary for me to alter the settings on my C3--they remained the same as using Wlan.

I had the exact same problem with my C3. Activated the data plan online, and then suffered through using only the mobile browser for months. Finally, after realizing others were able to get the native apps and email to work, I called customer service and within minutes everything worked. Not sure what they do on their end but SO should do a better job of advertising this. I probably spent 2 or 3 months of $ on the unlimited browsing plan and didn't get much out of it.
