I've got a 64GB iPad 1 with 3G and I got it working successfully with SO and unlimited Data and wanted to share my results and confirm it does work!

After reading around on the forums here, I decided to try getting my iPad to work based on the iPhone instructions found here: https://www.speakoutwireless.ca/speak/phone-features/iphone-3gs-with-new-unlimited-data-plan/

Launch it.

Click on "Configuration Profiles" in the left column.

Click the "New" button in the top left corner.

Under the "General" section fill in the "Name" and "Identifier" fields with whatever you like, I used:

Name: "Speakout Wireless"

Identifier: "com.speakout.wireless"

In the "Advanced" section, enter the following:

APN: "goam.com"

User Name: "wapuser1"

Password: "wap"

Proxy Server: "10.128.1.69"

Port: "80"

Then attach your iPhone to the computer, it will show up in the left column under Devices. When you see it, click on it to select it.

In the right screen, click the "Configuration Profiles" tab. You should see the "Speakout Wireless" configuration you just created.

Click the "Install" button next to it.

Your iPhone will now prompt you to install the profile, which should take just a few seconds.

Then you should be done!

Good luck
Kieran

After purchasing a SO Standalone SIM and activating it, I cut the SIM down to micro SIM size using this template: http://www.thechinacellphone.c.....mplate.pdf (when printing on letter size paper from Acrobat, uncheck the scaling options and resizing options). After cutting the SIM down, I inserted it into my iPad. When I saw my iPad register with the network, that was when I added $25 to my account and added the data plan online:

Here are pictures showing my results:

Apps installed work, along with email:

Images and Videos don't look the greatest though, but for the price I'm not really complaining:

Right on, I'm going to try it on my Ipad 1 over the holidays.
