I have been struggling for awhile now, trying to get web browsing up and running, after reading a few posts here indicating this is possible.
Having upgraded my Blackberry O/S to 4.1 and installing the correct version of mini Opera, it seems that my provider IT policy is still preventing me from getting out. I called Speakout support yesterday and enabled unlimited web and have also set up my APN settings to:
goam.com
wapuser1
wap
Feedback from anyone who has been able to get a Blackberry web browsing (or the Gmail App) working on Speakout would be appreciated.
Thank You
David

I recently linked to a guide that walks you through setting up simple service book entries for WAP browsing.

Thank you Jamesey: for the link - after reading it I was able to get my wife's 8700 Blackberry online. I am still struggling with the 7290, likely I will have to employ more drastic measures.
@iamdrumming: yes, I had done a search (and had read a lot of threads) but had missed the link that Jamesey so kindly pointed out. Please accept my apologies.
