Hi guys..Using an iPhone..everything works...except..I've heard that people using iPhone are able to use apps like Whatsapp, Tunein Radio etc..Just wondering how you guys have the phone configured..Care to share the settings using iPhone configuration utility..?

Whatsapp never worked for me when on UMB plan.
Streaming radio is hit and miss, probably due to which port the audio is streamed on.

I think when you read others able to use Whatsapp and Tunein is because they are using Android phone. Currently, the proxy app like AUTOPROXY and PROXYDROID allows iptables change to forward port requests from Whatsapp and Tunein to work.
You may have to look for something similar for iOS. I don't know what that is but I would think you will have to obtain that from Cydia sources instead of AppStore.

I have locked iphone with typical speakout apn settings and able to use tunein radio for the stations I want to listen to. There are others who have said they can't tune in the station they want so YMMV....give the app a try and see...

Here are the apn settings - http://www.binarysearchtree.co.....akout.html and I listen to cbc and I just tried and listened to Newstalk 1010 and tsn radio 1050 and newstalk 980. It takes a while to connect because I only have 3 bars....
