Hi, I got my Speakout card yesterday, it is working very well so far. I signed up for the $10.00 data plan too.
I have a jailbroken unlocked iPhone 3GS.
I followed the instructions on the web and at http://www.binarysearchtree.co.....kout.shtml to get the data / browsing working, so far all the apps are working, the phone indicates 3G.
Many thanks to this forum for the info!

I followed the instructions exactly with my iPhone 3G (Rogers), and while the 3G symbol comes up, I am unable load any web pages, emails, or web enabled apps. It just times out when I try. What am I missing? Is there some phone setting I need to change? I have done a couple of shut down / restart cycles, removed and re-installed the SIM card. What else should I be doing?

Yes, I subscribed to the $10 plan and got the text from Speakout that it is activated. I loaded the configuration profile via the apple configuration utility exactly per the instruction (I believe, although I may try doing it all again). The phone works perfectly for phoning and texting.
What puzzles me is that I get the "3G" symbol on the phone, but nothing works via 3G (or 2G). Wi-Fi is working fine.

Success!! I realized there's an extra step in the process - after hitting "install" on the configuration tool, you also have to hit "install" on the screen that pops up on the iphone too. I missed that the first time. I had thought that screen was just confirming that the configuration had been installed.
E-mail doesn't seem to work, though. I saw some older threads saying it doesn't work on the 3G phone (except for maybe gmail). Is that still the case? I'll do some more looking myself, but if you know of a good thread on this, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Super, great to hear you got it working.
I'm on gmail and find gmail is working for me on speakout using "exchange" http://www.google.com/support/.....wer=138740
Note that the gmail sync will not allow you to add custom labels in your contacts.
