Recently bought a Nokia Lumia 710 (Windows Phone 7) from Rogers. The cost was $249 at full price as I did not want a plan. This phone is amazing! Everything works 100% including the unlimited browsing. The phone requires a micro sim, as most smartphones now do, but cutting down my speakout sim was very easy. Just wanted to let everyone know, this phone works very well with speakout.

I was wondering about how it handled proxy settings. Windows Mobile generally was awful when it came to proxy APN settings, but Nokia phones were pretty good. Do the GPS apps work through Speakout? Or just browsing?

Actually I just checked. I thought the GPS worked but I had the wifi on.

Does caller ID work correctly? I hear complain about it not working with rogers lumia.
Also, have u experienced the bug where the phone indicates as being connected even after other side hangs up?
How's battery life?
How much did you pay without plan?
