I just got my Apple Peel from Hong Kong today. It's been a bit of an adventure setting it up. First, I couldn't get the app to install without errors. Some Googling told me to try: http://cydia.peel520.net instead of http://peel520.hk/cydia. That helped. The software installed fine. Next, I activated my new SpeakOut SIM online. Immediately, voice worked fine...almost. On the cell end, everything sounded fine, but on the other end, the voice was muffled. When I looked at the iPod Touch manual, I realized that the microphone is actually on the back, and the Peel had a plastic sheet covering the back. Sheet off--voice perfect. Now text...Everything looked fine when sending texts. It appeared to send fine, but never appeared at the other end. Receiving was equally interesting. I heard the incoming message tone, but the message never appeared in my inbox. Yet more Googling told me to set the date to 2011 instead of 2012...that worked perfect too, although I hope there's a fix soon, since now it's actually Thursday April 12, 2012 but my iPod reads TUESDAY April 12, 2011. Now...GPRS. Who can help me with settings? I have fields for APN, User, Password and Number. They're all actually pretty easy except "Number". Anyone?

Hi Pit Critter,

Did you ever have any luck getting yours set up? I have a Raisoo Peel T4 I can't get working at all:

Still gathering dust. It seemed like a good idea at the time...
