This is just getting bloody ridiculous. There are three members that are simply taking all the code requests. A quote from a new member states "Some responses were so quick, one could imagine they are automated in some fasion."
I have put together a spreadsheet of all the code requests for 2010. From 141 requests, Warren has supplied codes to 31 of them. Karl has supplied 30, and Bobby has supplied 17. That is 78 codes between three members! That is over 50% of the codes!
Also, the data shows that it is very likely that these three individuals are in fact the same person.
Also, it has become clear that certain members are not only breaking the once a week rule, but they are now sending emails and PMs without posting in the thread to avoid detection.
New members, please avoid taking codes from the following members as the have repeatedly ignored the rules despite being publicly warned...
Karl (21 infractions)
Warren (13 infractions)
Bobby (10 infractions)
adsl17910 (5 infractions)
dsmithe (3 infractions)
Jessica_ (5 infractions)
If nothing is done regarding this I will begin acquiring codes from these people and contacting Speakout to complain. The above six people have accumulate a total of exactly 100 codes this year to date. that leaves a measly 41 codes over a period 5 months for the rest of us. Not fair at all.
Consider how much these people are giving back to the other areas of the forum. Nothing! I do not see any of them posting anywhere but here.

What I am actually curious is how do they get more than 3 codes a month. SO in itself has a 3 code per month limit, so I'm not sure how they are getting more unless they know someone who works at SO and can provide them unlimited codes.
Which I'm pretty sure it would be an infringement in itself

Simple, if you have four or five phones in your family, that's over a dozen codes per month. That is part of my reasoning behind believing that the "big three" are all the same person. One identity will snipe 4 or 5 straight codes, then disappear. The next identity steps in and does the same. When he disappears the third identity steps in. There are never less than about four codes between identity changes. Also, these three guys post within a minute or two of a code request, yet I could not find one instance where any of these three individuals posted in the same thread. Very coincidental given their high volume.
What is also disturbing is that certain members have begun not posting in the thread, making it impossible to track their take.
I really hope that Peter does something soon, and helps us take this section back.
