Hi everyone,
Newbie here with a quick story to share. Picked up my free Nokia 1661 with the purchase of the 100$ voucher. Simple little phone. Wanted to port a number from another carrier, so spoke to cust. service. They said wouldn't be a problem, and asked for a secondary number, which I gave. They said I would get a text when the change had been done, or a phone call on the secondary # if there was an issue. My 1661 beeped today, and said it had been ported. Cool! But wait, they messed up my numbers. They didn't port the number I wanted ported, but the secondary one they asked for, so not cool!
So, the message here? Don't give a secondary number!
I'm hoping that things go smoother from here on out...
