Another 'porting away' question

I have had my speakout for almost two years and love it.
The problem is, it is now my business number and I need to go to a fixed plan.
My question is: If I port out this number to my business plan carrier, can I keep my Speakout phone and sim and just get it a different number?

I would think you will have to buy another sim. A call or email to SpeakOut customer service would help too.

You'll have to pay to get a new SIM, if you do that.
