I recently found that you can bypass the startup screens. When you turn the phone on, you get the NOKIA screen, then the hands holding screen and the 7-11 screen.
When the hands holding screen appears, just hit the button above the red hangup button, it will bypass the rest of the screens and go right to normal phone use.
