I do not know if any body know this or not. I had MTS pay as you go plan in Manitoba with their Nokia 2125i cell phone. Can I unlock this cell phone and use SO? On the unlock website, I can not find MTS provider name. Any ideas? Thank you.

No, a 2125i is a CDMA phone. SO uses Rogers, which is GSM. Unlocking is only possible with some GSM phones. Totally different technology.

Instead of activating an old phone (and you can't with the 2125i anyways) I'd recommend taking advantage of Speakout's current promo (good until the end of July).
If you buy $100 worth of airtime (which can last you up to a year, or longer) you can buy a phone and SIM for $30 or $40 (depending on which phone you want).
It's much easier and probably cheaper than unlocking an old GSM phone. If you buy a SIM from someone, it'll probably cost you about $30, plus it'll probably cost you something to unlock a GSM phone.

Again, he stated he has a Nokia 2125i, which is a CDMA phone. It is not possible to unlock it. Unlocking is only possible with most GSM phones.
