Hi, in the FAQ on this website it states that if I am moving within Canada, then "If you call customer service, they should be able to assign you a new number for your new location." However, I haven't been seen this information anywhere else.
I'm planning on moving across Canada within the next 6 months, and I am also looking at buying a SpeakOut phone. Can anyone confirm that it is possible to change your "local area" after a permanent move so that you don't have to pay long distance fees when making calls local to the area you are in?
Also, is the only way to do this by contacting customer support? I've tried to call them to ask them this very question, but they always make me wait forever on hold...
