For interest sake I emailed a test text message to myself. Since I just bought the credits to get a free phone a few days ago. I get a message from 3500001 about subscribing to email to sms service. I try to respond but says can't send the message. I was using the pcs.rogers.com (not that .ca would matter?) to send.
If you text "subscribe" to 0000000000 you will get a response from 3050000x that instructs you to reply with "read", but that won't work, of course. Sending "read" to 0000000000 produces an error.

Do they charge for sending the subscribe text? I find it odd that this number can send me a text, but doesn't exist to receive... Unless for some reason only rogers customers can do it? Oh well. If it doesn't work then no big deal. I'll make sure to the recipients know to go into their phone book to text me a reply instead of replying to that actual message.

I just created an account at the rogers sms site ( http://websms.rogers.page.ca/2way/ ), and sent two sms msgs to my native speakout phone number. both arrived.
Reply did not work.
This is the only way I can send text messages to my SO phone from my computer. yournumber@pcs.rogers.com does not work and, as mentioned before in an previous post, sends you a text message asking that you send Yes as a reply which then fails.
Thanks for the link and tip, texttester3!!! 😎

Not having a SO phone yet, but considering it...
Does send a web text to phone using this link work for users?
