Hello all,

After some playing around, I got email to text working. The limitation of this technique is that you have to manually add each Here's a brief guide:

  1. text "subscribe" to 0000000000 (ten zeros)
  2. text "Allow email@addr.com" to 0000000000 to allow an email address, or "Allow domain.com" to allow a domain
  3. That's it! The simple technique worked for me. If you're expecting lots of emails from lots of different people, it'll be difficult, but at least it works! Now people can reach you by sending an email to @pcs.rogers.com

    Has anyone been able to confirm that this will work! I am thinking that after the address (or domain) has been allowed, that folk will email you by sending to your ten digit phone number @pcs.rogers.com. And that this email will then be sent to you (by Rogers) as a text message - is that correct?

    Works... kinda.

    Here's what I did on my iPhone;

    - texted "subscribe" to 0000000000
    - texted "Allow rogers.com" to 0000000000
    - I then received a text that I'd subscribed to Rogers e-mail forwarding service
    - I then received a text that I'd allowed rogers.com domains to contact me
    - from my computer sent an email to 416258XXXX@pcs.rogers.com
    - I received a text saying I had received a message from an email and was prompted to reply wit "Read" to see it
    - Thats where the process failed unfortunately, as I could not reply to the message. Error message.

    I did it as well.but I'd say it's useless unless you would like to spend 25c/10c(not sure) to READ the real info. I didn't try further because I suppose free incoming text no matter where it come from other phone or email.
