is my nokia 1208 i got from 7 11 last year and a bit is it locked or unlocked?

The simplest way to find out is to insert a non SO/PCM/Rogers SIM in the phone and see if it still works. Do you know anyone with a Fido SIM or a US AT&T or T-Mobile SIM that you can try? If not, try a small, independent cellphone store.

I don't have hold of any other SIM,
but
old stock is unlocked right, i have had mines for a while compared to mid 09?

If you go to a Fido store/mall kiosk and ask nicely, they'll let you test your phone with one of their SIMs.

It should be unlocked. I also bought my 1208 last year and it was unlocked. I have not heard yet of a 1208 being locked, especially older stock.
