i have tried the past few days to use Apps such as Mail, textPlus, Facebook, TSN etc. which all previously worked, even after the 3 months of unlimited use (for Skype etc) for the 10$ /month data plan. They all don't seem to be working on a 3G network, only on Wifi.

Anyone having the same issue? looks like i might have to stop my data plan if this continues, as basically nothing is working now.

it has been like this for a while now. They dropped the full out data about 2-3 months ago. I think it was beginning of febuary or the end. In any case depending on the hardware you are using its not that difficult of a work around.

I am still using maps, emails, texting apps, youtube, netflix, facebook, tsn etc just fine on my galaxy tab 7. I have yet to try making any calls on skype over it but if I log in it connects just fine.

what port/settings are you using? all of those above items were working fine for me up until a few days ago on my iPhone, now nothing seems to work.

i'm in Ontario, so doesn't sound like its a regional problem. anyone change their settings/port recently?

Using an iPhone in Quebec on Petro-Canada. No changes to the unlimited web browsing. All apps that used to work continue to work.

Check your settings for your APN and proxy.

nevermind, i had a few different Speakout Profiles. One of the ports must have stopped working, as i tried another Profile with different settings, and it worked fine.
