I haven't taken my phone back to check whether the problem is with the battery or the phone itself and won't be able to until Monday. I'd like to know what I can expect when I take it in: ie, does SO have test batteries to determine the problem? and if the phone itself is defective, is my phone replaced immediately or? 😕

Call SpeakOut and ask what to do. It would seem that the correct thing to do with a new phone is to return it for a replacement/refund. All provinces have consumer protection laws that cover defective goods.
