That is a good question. I would say the first hurtle would to be get Rogers to activate the SIM, which is highly unlikely, considering how much of a security risk they are. I feel like you could get a free SIM swap if you talk to the right Rogers CSR.
As for old SIMs working on a modern phone, again a good question, one I have no answer for.
