I have 3 phones under my account already but I plan to port in a 4th one (an easy way to cancel koodo without calling them). I understand I need to activate my SIM and get a new number first. Question is do I have to top it up, as second step, before I fill the porting form? I do not plan to keep the 4th number so I do not want to top it up. Thanks for inputs.

In case someone else want to know the answer too: no you do not have to top up any money before you start port in.
