Hi all,

Am looking seriously at moving from Rogers prepaid to SpeakOut due to the reduced texting rates. If I port my number over to SpeakOut, what happens to my Rogers prepaid Sim and credit. Can Rogers assign a new number to the prepaid account so I can sell the sim with the credit or will the sim be dead?

You lose both. Use up your Rogers credit before you port the number to SpeakOut.

Note that you have 90 days after you purchase a SpeakOut airtime credit to activate it.
