How are the phones and the service for use in house basements, will they work?
Will I receive incoming calls?

Reception doesn't really matter what part of a house you are in, per se. I always pick up a strong signal anywhere in my house. What's more important is how close the Rogers tower is to you. It all depends on location, and which phone you are using, because some phones are better picking up a signal than others.

The Nokia phones that come with the Speak Out service are very good when it comes to reception. Sadly, the only real way you are going to find out how good the reception is, is to physically test it. If you have a buddy with a Rogers, Fido or Petro Canada phone, invite the person over to test if the phone works. Get them to call 611 so it does not cost them any airtime. If it works for them, the Speak out phone will work also!
