Hello
I need to boost my signal strength to receive a good signal from one of my offices in Winnipeg. I'm looking at boosters and repeaters but I first need to confirm the signal frequency, band range: I'm not really certain I'm saying this correctly as I'm not familiar with this aspect of cel phone use.

Open to any suggestions that do not require plugging something into my cel phone. Plus if anyone can confirm the signal frequency I'll need to boost that would be most helpful.

Thanks
Steven

Speak out, operates at the 850 mhz and 1900 mhz gsm band. Most of the established players, like rogers, bell and telus, also operate at that frequency. An amplifier will only work in an area in the building that can get some cell signal. I would recommend you buy one from a vendor that has a decent return policy. When the boosters work, they work great. But there are situations where it will not work, and it is hard to find that out until you actually test it out.
