The short answer is no. But you can just buy a cheap SIM card from somewhere in the States like T-Mobile and use it in a 7-Eleven phone (or other GSM-based, unlocked phone).

I wanted to get a U.S. SIM card so I could use this phone in the U.S. but the Nokia 6061 has to be unlocked first. Any ideas about what network this phone uses.
The unlock sites alway mention Roger AT&T or Fido.

Thanks.

What a great site. Thanks for setting it up and keeping it going Peter!

Found my answer in another post - the Nokia 6061 should be unlocked so it's just a matter of getting a U.S. SIM card.

As in Canada, SO US does not sell SIMs only. Apparently you can buy SIMs for AT&T and T-Mobile on eBay and maybe even from their websites that are a better deal than SO US.

Where did you get this phone? If from SO Canada then it should be unlocked.

SO US uses the AT&T network.
