You can use your unlocked phone (I have an unlocked t-mobile blackberry). However, you need to buy one of their phones to get a SpeakOut SIM card.
It would be really sensible for them to sell SIM cards separately, but I suspect their contract with Rogers doesn't allow it (since a lot of Rogers customers might simply migrate to SO).
